Role - Business Development Manager

Location - Amravati / Nagpur

Qualification -

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field Minimum

2-3 years of experience

in

business development, sales, or channel management

within the

solar/renewable energy industry

or a relevant background Proven experience in

B2B/B2C sales

, project acquisition, or solar EPC/distributorship business Strong understanding of

solar products, systems, pricing, and market trends

Experience in

client acquisition, dealer/distributor development, and relationship management

Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems is preferred Ability to travel extensively for market development

Channel Sales:



Identify, appoint, and manage channel partners/distributors for solar products and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth. Provide training, product knowledge, and marketing support to partners. Monitor partner performance, set targets, and ensure achievement of sales goals. Develop strategies to expand market reach through partner networks. Resolve partner queries, conflicts, and ensure smooth business operations. Track competitor activities and market trends to support decision-making.

EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction):



Generate business opportunities for solar EPC projects (rooftop & ground-mounted). Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project requirements. Coordinate with sales teams to prepare proposals, quotations. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance. Monitor project progress with the execution team to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. Maintain relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and government bodies for large-scale projects. Ensure compliance with regulatory policies, industry standards, and quality benchmarks.

General Responsibilities:



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & revenue targets across channel and EPC business. Provide regular reports and market feedback to senior management. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums. Stay updated with government policies, subsidies, and market developments in the solar industry. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism by refraining from discussing salary matters with employees.
