Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.


This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Pune, India.


You will be mainly accountable for:

Responsible for business development of Low Voltage Switchgear products for Pune and Surrounding Areas. o Prepares customer development plans ( Consultants and End Users ) using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes the expedition plan(s) in cases of potential delays or shortfalls. Presenting the ABB Extensive portfolio by focusing on conversion of orders thru lead management and Opportunity funnel management in SFDC Generating the agreed sales leads to support the sales funnel which is part of effective sales process Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

Qualifications for the role

Having Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering At least 8-10 years' experience with minimum 6-7 years low voltage switchgear experience either sales or business development. Business Development Experience of Low Voltage Switchgear for Pune Customers and Projects is preferred Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers required to generate the desire sales
