We are looking for a
strategic and results-driven Business Development Lead
to scale our outbound sales engine and fuel growth in the India mid-market segment. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, optimizing prospecting strategies, and driving consistent revenue pipeline. You will lead a team of 10+ BDRs, refine outbound playbooks, and ensure Account Executives receive a steady flow of high-quality opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Ownership:
Drive top-of-funnel growth by consistently delivering qualified pipeline for the India mid-market business.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of outbound BDRs, ensuring performance excellence through coaching, motivation, and career development.
Outbound Strategy:
Design and refine prospecting strategies -- including email campaigns, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and multi-channel engagement.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor call quality, outreach effectiveness, and prospecting metrics; continuously improve workflows to maximize conversions.
Playbook Development:
Build and scale outbound sales playbooks, ensuring messaging consistency, impactful outreach, and market adaptability.
Data-Driven Growth:
Leverage analytics and sales tools to track progress, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Innovation:
Introduce new tools, automation, and prospecting best practices to keep the outbound engine ahead of the curve.
What We're Looking For
3-6 years of experience in
B2B SaaS sales or sales development
, including at least 1 year managing a BDR/SDR team.
Proven expertise in
outbound prospecting
-- email, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach -- with a strong record of exceeding targets.
Skilled in using
sales automation tools
(HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or equivalents).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize processes and scale programs based on performance data.
Excellent leadership and communication skills; passionate about
