Everest Carbon is the first Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) startup operating in India. Our business is permanently removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere at scale to tackle the climate crisis and North American and European corporates are paying us for that.

Our mission is to remove 1 Million tons of CO2 by 2026 and scale to 1 Billion tons per year by 2030.

We are funded by leading entrepreneurs and investors from the US and EU, have the leading Professor for our ERW method on board as a scientific advisor, are generating revenues, and are currently in the process of certifying and listing our first large-scale projects (>$3M) on global marketplaces.

Tasks

We are seeking a motivated and proactive intern to join our team and support our business development efforts in India. As an intern at Everest, you will work closely with the Director of Operations and the team to help develop and execute growth strategies on our supply side. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field of business development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing growth strategies on our supply side in India
• Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and help bring them to fruition
• Take ownership of small projects and tasks as assigned by the senior team members
• Contribute to the promotion and development of our company culture

Requirements

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs
• We would prefer someone who is able to give us more than 28 hrs every week.
