Key Responsibilities

Product Development

: Overseeing the design, engineering, and prototyping of new sheet metal products and components to meet customer specifications and market trends.

Process Innovation

: Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality in sheet metal fabrication.

Team Leadership

: Managing and motivating engineering and production teams, fostering collaboration with other departments (like design, engineering, and project management) to ensure cohesive product development.

Quality Assurance

: Ensuring that new products and processes meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements, working to reduce defects and improve overall product performance.

Strategic Planning

: Contributing to the development of long-term strategies for growth, identifying market opportunities, and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and best practices in the sheet metal industry.

Project Management

: Planning, executing, and monitoring multiple development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and deliver the desired outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is often a prerequisite.

Experience

: Significant experience in the sheet metal industry, with a proven track record in areas like production, design, and engineering.

Technical Expertise

: Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling development, and design software like AutoForm is valuable.

: Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are crucial for coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with stakeholders.
