Job Purpose:



To lead business development initiatives in the gems and jewellery industry, driving growth through strategic partnerships, new market expansion, client acquisition, and revenue enhancement while ensuring brand positioning and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals. Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities in the gems and jewellery industry. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in trends and pricing.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and corporate buyers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements to maximize profitability. Identify potential partnerships, collaborations, and B2B opportunities.

Sales & Revenue Growth

Drive sales growth through direct and indirect channels. Monitor sales performance, target achievement, and revenue metrics. Coordinate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams for successful product launches and campaigns.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead, mentor, and manage the business development and sales team. Set targets, KPIs, and monitor performance. Ensure team alignment with company objectives and business strategies.

Reporting & Analytics

Prepare regular reports on business growth, market trends, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions. Analyze ROI of campaigns, partnerships, and expansion activities.

Process Improvement & Brand Positioning

Suggest and implement improvements in business processes for efficiency and growth. Ensure brand image and reputation are maintained in all business dealings.

Candidate Requirements:



Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Management, or relevant field. 5-8 years of experience in business development / sales leadership in gems, jewellery, or luxury retail. Strong understanding of jewellery products, market dynamics, and customer behavior. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Analytical, strategic thinking, and result-oriented mindset. Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
