GeM (Government e-Marketplace)
and other tender platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business leads through online and offline channels.
Manage end-to-end bid participation on government portals like GeM, e-procurement sites, and other public sector platforms.
Research and track upcoming government tenders, RFPs, and business opportunities relevant to IT services.
Prepare and submit technical and financial bids in coordination with internal teams.
Build strong relationships with government departments and key decision-makers.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects to meet business growth targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical) to deliver customized solutions to clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Represent Migarch at business meetings, events, and exhibitions when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2+ years of experience in business development, specifically working with government portals like GeM, NIC, or similar.
Strong understanding of the IT industry and government procurement processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and online tender portals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in handling tenders, RFPs, RFQs independently.
Prior experience in a similar role within an IT company.
Familiarity with sales pipelines and reporting.
