Overview: As a Business Development Executive/Manager in the diamond industry, you\'ll be responsible for driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with clients. Your role will involve understanding market trends, negotiating contracts, and developing strategies to expand the company\'s presence within the industry. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends. Analyze data to understand customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behaviors. Stay updated on market dynamics, pricing trends, and regulatory changes affecting the diamond industry. Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share. Identify new business opportunities and niche markets to diversify revenue streams. Collaborate with senior management to define long-term growth objectives and strategies. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Prospect and engage with potential clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events. Customize solutions to meet client needs and address concerns in a timely manner. Sales and Negotiation: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closure, including presenting proposals and negotiating contracts. Develop pricing strategies based on market analysis, product value, and competitive positioning. Strong understanding of diamond grading, certification, and industry standards. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales productivity tools. Flexibility to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed.
