About the Role
We are looking for a
proactive Business Development Executive
who can identify, connect, and engage with potential clients actively looking for
website development and digital solutions
.
This role focuses on
outbound lead generation and relationship building
through platforms like
LinkedIn, freelance marketplaces, and professional networks
. The ideal candidate enjoys research, outreach, and initiating conversations that convert into real business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify potential clients on
LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other work platforms
Monitor job postings and business requirements related to:
Website Development
UI/UX Design
E-commerce Websites
Web Applications
Research companies and decision-makers to ensure relevant outreach
Outreach & Communication
Send
personalized connection requests and intro messages
on LinkedIn
Submit
custom proposals and bids
on freelance/work platforms
Initiate first-level conversations to understand client needs (non-technical)
Lead Qualification
Assess client requirements, budget range, and timelines
Share qualified leads with internal teams for further discussion or closure
Maintain clear notes and follow-up schedules
CRM & Reporting
Maintain lead data in
CRM / Google Sheets
Track:
Connections sent
Responses received
Qualified leads
Deals closed
Provide
weekly performance updates
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have
1-3 years of experience in
Business Development / Lead Generation / IT Sales
Strong experience using
LinkedIn for outreach
Basic understanding of:
Website development
Digital products or IT services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-ups
Good-to-Have
Experience with
Upwork / Freelancer / Fiverr bidding
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Notion, Sheets, etc.)
Prior experience in
web development agencies or SaaS companies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred)
Strong internet research and documentation skills
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
New connections added per week
Response & engagement rate
Number of qualified leads generated
Conversion rate from lead to deal
Revenue influenced (for incentive calculation)

Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives
