Identify and develop new business opportunities in the B2B market (contractors, builders, RMC plants, carting dealers, and infrastructure projects).
Research and target potential clients and projects in the given area.
Build and maintain strong relationships with purchase managers, project engineers, and the site heads of customers.
Generate leads through market visits, networking, and referrals.
Sales Process
Negotiate and close sales deals with clients for aggregates and quarry products.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
Handle client queries, resolve delivery/quality issues, and maintain trust.
Share quotations, proposals, and agreements as per client requirements.
Conduct proper KYC (Know Your Customer) checks during client onboarding, including verification of business details, creditworthiness, and documentation.
Keep proper records of sales calls, client meetings, and deals.
Product Knowledge
Stay updated on the company's aggregate and stone product range.
Keep track of market prices, competitor offerings, and demand trends.
Explain product suitability (sizes, grades, and applications) to customers.
Project Management Support
Follow up on supply schedules for client projects.
Coordinate with contractors and site teams for smooth deliveries.
Monitor client satisfaction and resolve any operational issues.
Build long-term business with key accounts and project customers.
Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, payments, and client interactions.
Prepare regular sales performance and market update reports.
Share insights with management on new opportunities and competitor activities.
Coordination
Work with the dispatch/logistics team to ensure timely delivery of aggregates.
Coordinate with the accounts team for invoicing, payment follow-ups, and credit control.
Collaborate with management and marketing for promotions and business growth strategies.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Sales & Marketing.
2-4 years of experience in sales of building and construction materials.
Skills
