Job Description

JD: Business Development Executive



A technical expert during the sales process, bridging the gap between a company's sales team and potential customers. Understanding customer needs, demonstrating the value of a technical solution, and providing tailored proposals to close deals.

Key responsibilities

Needs assessment: Conduct discovery sessions to understand a client's technical requirements, business challenges, and goals. Solution design: Develop and present tailored technical solutions that effectively address customer needs using the company's product and service portfolio. Product demonstration: Lead and deliver impactful product presentations and demonstrations to diverse audiences, from technical staff to C-level executives. Proposal development: Prepare and deliver technical documentation, such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and detailed Statements of Work (SOWs). Technical support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle, handling objections, answering technical questions, and validating proposed solutions. Internal collaboration: Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with the product roadmap. Market expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments.
Required qualifications and skills

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred. Experience: Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role within the IT industry, with a track record of supporting sales teams. Technical knowledge: Good knowledge and experience preferably on Information Security & Cyber security concepts. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
