Job Description

The Business Development Executive - Tourism is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the tourism and travel sector. The role involves market research, client acquisition, relationship management, and promotion of tourism products and services.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international tourism markets Promote tour packages, travel services, hotel partnerships, and destination offerings Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, hotels, airlines, and tourism boards Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitors, and customer preferences Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients and partners Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals Participate in travel fairs, exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events Coordinate with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, and sales activities using CRM tools Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Required Skills & Competencies



Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills Knowledge of tourism products, destinations, and travel trends Relationship-building and client management abilities Market analysis and strategic thinking Presentation and proposal-writing skills Ability to work independently and meet targets Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field 1-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the tourism or travel industry Experience working with tour operators, travel agencies, or hospitality businesses is preferred
