To position the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) as the preferred partner for logistics skilling, training, and placements by creating strong industry collaborations, driving demand aggregation, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
2. Core Responsibilities
Drive partnerships with logistics companies, OEMs, and allied industries.
Build international placement linkages (Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific).
Liaise with ministries, NSDC, and state skill missions for funded projects.
Support apprenticeship and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) initiatives.
Ensure revenue targets are achieved through training fees, certifications, CSR, and consulting.
3. Strategic Pillars
A. Industry Partnerships & Demand Aggregation
Identify skill demand across subsectors: warehousing, cold chain, transport, MHE, e-commerce logistics, freight forwarding, and EXIM.
Aggregate workforce demand from industry partners (TVS SCS, Adani, DHL, Delhivery, Blinkit, etc.).
Facilitate placement-linked training programs and MoUs with hiring companies.
Create employer recognition programs (e.g., "LSC Certified Employer for Agniveer Placements").
B. Training & Education Initiatives
Expand presence in the industry by promoting LSC courses like
warehouse management, forklift training, and NIOS
Expand presence in schools and education institutions by promoting LSC built
Logics Game
and
higher education programs

Promote blended learning through e-content, LMS, and AR/VR simulations.
Position LSC as a partner of choice for CSR-funded training programs.
C. Apprenticeship & RPL
Drive adoption of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) across logistics companies.
Identify and register companies under apprenticeship programs through NSDC/MSDE channels.
Mobilize informal workforce for RPL certifications to formalize skills and improve employability.
D. Government & CSR Collaboration
Liaise with MSDE, NSDC, and State Skill Missions for large-scale funded programs.
Secure CSR partnerships with large corporates (e.g., TVS, Tata, Adani, Flipkart).
Position LSC projects as high-impact, measurable, and compliant with 80G and UC requirements.
E. Branding & Outreach
Highlight LSC's success stories (training impact, international placements, industry collaborations).
Represent LSC at logistics summits, job fairs, and skill expos.
Run awareness campaigns (environment, sustainability, women in logistics, Agniveer employability).
Collaborate with IT team for digital campaigns, reels, and social media storytelling.
F. Revenue & Impact Tracking
Ensure each project contributes to financial sustainability of LSC.
Build a dashboard to track revenue from:
Industry-funded programs
Government-funded programs
International placements
CSR initiatives
Training fees and certifications
Measure social impact (jobs created, women participation, rural outreach, green skills).
