The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the water and wastewater treatment industry. The role involves market research, client follow-up, lead generation, proposal preparation, and supporting project acquisition to drive the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Research:
Identify and qualify potential customers in the industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors.
Research new markets, trends, and competitor activities to develop effective strategies.
Client Acquisition & Follow-Up:
Conduct regular follow-ups with existing and prospective clients to convert leads into sales.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Sales & Proposal Management:
Prepare and submit technical & commercial proposals with the support of the engineering team.
Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Coordination:
Act as a single point of contact for clients from enquiry stage to project handover.
Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Projects, Service) to ensure client requirements are met.
Networking & Brand Building:
Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
Develop brand visibility in the market through presentations and promotional activities.
Database & Reporting:
Maintain an updated client database and sales pipeline.
Submit weekly and monthly reports on leads, conversions, and market feedback.
