Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Business Development Executive

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads from our website, as well as initiating strategic cold outreach to expand our client base in freight forwarding and customs clearance services.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up on incoming leads generated via our website forms (freight forwarding and customs clearance). Qualify, nurture, and convert leads into long-term business relationships. Conduct cold outreach to potential clients in the shipping and logistics industry. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through consistent engagement. Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to align client needs with service capabilities. Maintain accurate and updated records of all sales activity using internal CRM tools. Prepare reports, client proposals, and presentations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the shipping/logistics/freight forwarding industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to convert leads and close deals. Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
