About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive with 2-3 years of experience in the education or technical training industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with colleges, universities, and Training & Placement Officers (TPOs) to promote our institute's training programs and drive student enrolments.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and establish partnerships with colleges and universities for technical training collaborations.
Meet and build long-term relationships with TPOs, department heads, and college management.
Conduct presentations, seminars, and workshops in colleges to showcase our institute's training offerings.
Convince colleges and TPOs to collaborate and send their students for our technical training programs.
Understand client (college/student) requirements and recommend suitable training solutions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for student enrollments and partnership acquisitions.
Coordinate with the training and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of college tie-ups and events.
Maintain a database of leads, opportunities, and partnership progress using CRM tools.
Provide market feedback, competitor analysis, and insights to improve strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or college outreach, preferably in the technical education/training or edtech sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong networking abilities and confidence in interacting with senior academic professionals.
Willingness to travel frequently to colleges and universities.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in promoting or selling technical or skill development programs.
Understanding of engineering and IT-related training programs (e.g., JAVA, Android, iOS, Networking, Cloud, Data Science, etc.).
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
Strong local network in the education sector.
