Key Responsibilities:
Identify and reach out to potential schools (private, public, or group chains) within the assigned territory
Pitch products/services to school principals, management, and decision-makers through presentations, demos, and meetings
Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with school stakeholders
Follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed targets
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and support
Maintain records of sales activities, leads, pipeline, and customer feedback
Represent the company at educational events, conferences, and exhibitions
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences in the K-12 education space
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in business development or sales (preferably in EdTech, publishing, or educational services)
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in selling to schools or the education sector
Existing network of contacts within K-12 schools
Knowledge of the school curriculum and educational products (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, etc.)
