Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to both inbound and outbound lead generation by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers across the sales funnel. Alongside generating new business opportunities, you will also play a key role in nurturing and managing key accounts, fostering long-term client satisfaction and relationship growth. You'll work closely with the sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent follow-ups post-engagement.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and pursue potential leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and outbound tools-- within the WordPress and SaaS ecosystem. Initiate contact with decision-makers, engaging them with relevant messaging, and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team. Strike conversations and build rapport with C-level executives, Product Heads, CTOs, and Marketing Managers--understanding their needs and aligning them with our solutions. Conduct in-depth discovery calls to explore prospect pain points, timelines, and budgets. Diligently document all lead interactions, status updates, and follow-ups in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring clean data and a reliable sales pipeline. Consistently meet or exceed outreach goals (calls, emails, meetings booked) and lead generation KPIs across weekly and monthly targets. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine messaging, share prospect insights, and improve the quality and relevance of outreach efforts. Assist in moving qualified leads through later sales stages--coordinating follow-ups, handling objections, and supporting closure efforts. Design and manage automated workflows using tools like Zapier, Notion, or CRM sequences to reduce manual work and ensure consistent lead nurturing.

Skills

:

1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or business development (preferably in SaaS, WordPress/eCommerce/eLearning, or related industries). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable with remote work arrangements. Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. UG Qualification: BCA (Any Specialization), B.Sc (Computers), B.Tech/B.E. (Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication),Diploma (Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication), B.Com, B.Sc. PG Qualification: MBA/PGDM/MMS.
