Job Title:

Business Development Executive (BDE) / Online Bidder - Upwork

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) / Online Bidder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and bidding on projects through Upwork and other freelance platforms to generate new business opportunities. You will work closely with our delivery teams to understand client requirements and create tailored proposals that win projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a good understanding of online freelance marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms. Write customized, compelling proposals to increase win rates on bidding projects. Understand client needs and communicate them effectively to internal teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business. Negotiate pricing, project scope, and timelines with clients. Maintain records of bids, client communications, and follow-ups in CRM or spreadsheets. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to generate leads through LinkedIn, emails, and other channels (optional).

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in bidding on Upwork or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong negotiation and client management skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Basic understanding of IT or service industry (preferred). Familiarity with CRM tools and project management platforms is a plus.

Preferred (Optional):

Experience with LinkedIn lead generation and cold emailing. Knowledge of Upwork's bidding system and profile optimization. Familiarity with digital marketing, software development, or related industries.
