About Us

Govardhan Overseas is a growing FMCG company specializing in premium dry fruits and spices, committed to delivering quality, authenticity, and health to our customers. As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Executive to lead and manage our modern trade and institutional sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, onboard, and manage Modern Trade accounts (e.g., Big Bazaar, D-Mart, Reliance, Nature's Basket, etc.)

Develop and execute B2B and Institutional sales strategies targeting hotels, restaurants, caterers, corporate gifting partners, and bulk buyers.

Drive listing, promotions, and visibility in key modern trade outlets.

Build long-term relationships with key buyers and institutional clients.

Regularly monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and report on market trends and competitor activities.

Manage and coordinate with internal supply chain, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and execution.

Negotiate commercials, contracts, and ensure profitable growth in assigned channels.

Conduct periodic product training and promotional activities at retail and institutional level.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales in the FMCG sector, preferably with exposure to modern trade and institutional sales.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic B2B relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong market understanding and network in the FMCG segment.

Self-driven with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
