Key Responsibilities:
Take the lead in generating
new business opportunities
beyond existing clients.
Conduct
field visits
to prospective companies and build strong professional relationships.
Follow up
with potential clients consistently until successful lead conversion.
Maintain and update client data, leads, and follow-ups using
CRM software (ERPNext).
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business reports.
Provide insights into market trends, competitor activities, and new business strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering
(preferred) or any discipline (non-mechanical candidates with strong business acumen are also welcome).
Prior experience in
Business Development / Sales & Marketing / Client Relationship Management
is an advantage.
Strong communication skills in
Tamil & English
(fluency required). Knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in using
CRM systems
.
Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and a client-focused mindset.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
