About the Role
As a
Business Development Manager (BDM)
, you'll be the face of our brand -- identifying new opportunities, building meaningful client relationships, and driving project acquisitions. You'll collaborate closely with our talented design and project teams to deliver inspiring interiors that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across B2B and B2C sectors.
Build a strong network within the architecture, real estate, and design community.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, architects, designers, and key stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored design solutions.
Sales & Proposal Development
Collaborate with design teams to create compelling presentations and proposals.
Present concepts that highlight the firm's creative capabilities and unique value.
Negotiation & Sales Closure
Manage the complete sales cycle -- from lead generation to deal closure.
Negotiate terms and contracts to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Analysis & Strategy
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging design concepts.
Share insights and strategies to strengthen business positioning.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work hand-in-hand with design, marketing, and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Track KPIs, report performance, and share business insights with management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate in
Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum
2+ years of experience
in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition -- ideally within
Interior Design, Luxury Real Estate, or Construction.
Core Skills:
Exceptional
communication, presentation, and negotiation
abilities.
Strong
networking
and relationship management skills.
Business-driven mindset with
creative appreciation
for design aesthetics.
Highly
self-motivated
, result-oriented, and proactive in approach.
Awareness of
current interior design trends
and market dynamics is an added advantage.
