Job Overview:



The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping the company grow its market presence. This role involves generating leads, qualifying prospects, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals to drive revenue growth. The BDE will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment in efforts and strategies. A key component of this role is identifying market trends, understanding customer needs, and presenting solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead Generation & Prospecting

: Research and identify potential clients and market opportunities in both new and existing markets. Reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, social media, networking events, and industry conferences. Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales opportunities.

Client Relationship Building

: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and challenges. Engage with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective clients to promote products and services. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing tailored solutions.

Sales Presentations & Negotiations

: Conduct detailed needs analysis and present customized solutions to prospects. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate terms and pricing to close deals while ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability. Handle objections and work to overcome challenges during the sales process.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for differentiation. Monitor competitor offerings and customer feedback to position the company's products and services effectively. Provide insights and recommendations on how to improve the company's offerings to better meet client needs.

Sales Reporting & Documentation

: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline status in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Provide regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales manager or director. Track and analyze sales data, ensuring performance meets or exceeds targets and KPIs.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

: Work closely with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and content that support business development efforts. Collaborate with product and service teams to understand product features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery post-sale.

Networking & Brand Promotion

: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and increase brand visibility. Participate in online forums, webinars, and other platforms to build relationships and promote the company's offerings. Actively engage with prospects on social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to nurture relationships and generate interest.

Client Retention & Upselling

: Work with existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business relationships. Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and uncover further business opportunities. Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to improve products/services and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or business development (e.g., Sandler, SPIN, HubSpot) are a plus.

Experience

: 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, consulting, or other relevant industries is highly desirable.

Skills

: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and overcome objections. Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and create sales strategies. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
