The Business Development Executive (BDE) in Logistics is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company's logistics services. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, promoting logistics solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective coordination with operations and customer service teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in logistics, supply chain sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good understanding of logistics operations, transportation, and warehousing.
Proven ability to meet sales targets and develop client relationships.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and quotations to clients.
Collaborate with the operations and pricing team to provide competitive service solutions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service and issue resolution.
Participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows, and promotional events to enhance business visibility.
