Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive at Elance Learning Provider Pvt. Ltd., you will play a key field role in driving offline marketing, lead generation, and business development. Your responsibilities include school and college visits, meeting key decision-makers, conducting awareness sessions, collecting student data, and functioning as one of Elances sales funnel.
You will also have the opportunity to lead and executing public events, student expos, and local brand activities, as well as creating and managing community networks to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
This role demands extensive fieldwork, proactive planning, and business development mindset to create new opportunities for Elance in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. School & College Marketing Activities
Develop and execute route plans to cover maximum schools and colleges in your assigned territory.
Conduct career awareness sessions, workshops, and seminars
Meet Principals, Heads of Departments, and Teachers to pitch Elance programs and establish long-term partnerships.
Collect and verify student and parent data for lead generation and maintain CRM updates.
Support branding activities such as classroom posters, standees, and brochure distribution during school visits.
2. Community Creation & Engagement
Build and manage local agent networks and micro-communities to generate
continuous leads.
Activate word-of-mouth campaigns through community initiatives and local
partnerships.
Promote Elance in local neighborhoods, enhancing credibility and trust.
3. Public Activities & Events (Business Development Opportunities)
Plan and execute major public-facing marketing activities to boost brand
visibility and attract student leads:
o Student Expos & Educational Fairs: Organize and participate in expos to
connect with students and parents directly.
o Sponsorship Events & Partnerships: Represent Elance at school fests,
meets, college festivals, and community events.
o Workshops & Skill Development Events: Host sessions on career
awareness, entrance prep, and skill-based learning.
Business Development Focus:
o Identify new partnership opportunities with schools, colleges, tuition
centers, and local businesses.
o Explore tie-ups with educational associations
o Evaluate event outcomes to assess ROI in terms of leads, community
growth, and institutional engagement.
4. Sales Funnel & Pre-Sales Support
Convert field activities into leads, entering all data into CRM with 100% accuracy.
Coordinate with the sales and counseling team for timely follow-ups and nurturing leads.
Drive student walk-ins to Elance Centers
Monitor agent network performance and ensure monthly lead targets are met.
5. Planning, Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily route plans to optimize school/college coverage and event
participation.
Maintain daily activity logs including institutional visits, sessions conducted, leads collected, and event outcomes.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Operations) to support campaign execution and business growth.
Skills & Requirements:
Graduate in Marketing, Business, or any relevant field.
03 years in field marketing, BTL campaigns, or education business
development.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English & Malayalam.
Capable of planning routes, organizing events, and engaging communities.
Comfortable with extensive travel and target-driven fieldwork.
Basic proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and Google Workspace.
