We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive growth for Portfolio Builders. The role focuses on generating leads, building client relationships, promoting portfolio programs, and expanding our design community through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, social media, and networking
Promote portfolio-building programs, workshops, and career services to students, freshers, and professionals
Handle inquiries, counsel prospects, and convert leads into enrollments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleges, institutions, and partners
Collaborate with marketing and design teams for campaigns and outreach strategies
Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly business targets
Represent Portfolio Builders in events, webinars, and community sessions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confidence in pitching services and handling objections
Basic knowledge of UI/UX, design portfolios, or EdTech (added advantage)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Goal-oriented with a proactive attitude
Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, or Google Sheets is a plus
Experience
0-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome
