Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Executive to join our field sales team. The role involves direct interaction with customers to promote and sell IT solutions including computer hardware, networking equipment, server infrastructure, and cloud services. The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, skilled in customer engagement, and capable of driving sales growth through on-ground efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales & Customer Visits:

  • Conduct regular visits to potential and existing clients to understand their IT needs.
  • Demonstrate and promote products and services on-site.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
  • Identify new business opportunities through field research, referrals, and networking.
  • Convert leads into sales through consultative selling and relationship building.
Product Presentation & Negotiation:
  • Present product features, benefits, and pricing to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide post-sales support and coordinate with technical teams for service delivery.
Market Intelligence:
  • Gather feedback from the field to understand market trends and customer preferences.
  • Report competitor activities and suggest strategies to stay ahead.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales in CRM or Excel.
  • Submit daily/weekly reports to the sales manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in IT hardware or services.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking products, servers, and cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Own vehicle and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Electronics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience dealing with SMEs, corporates, or institutional clients.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, AWS) are a plus.
