We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Outside Sales Executive to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will leverage existing industry connections, re-engage with former clients and develop new opportunities through strategic prospecting.
This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of AV/technology solutions and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Reconnect with former clients, rebuild relationships and generate repeat business.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and regions.
Meet clients face-to-face to present AV solutions and proposals.
Work closely with inside sales, design and estimation teams to develop tailored proposals.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain and update client interactions, opportunities and pipeline in the CRM.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking sessions.
Provide feedback to internal teams on client requirements, market trends and competition.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics/IT or related field.
3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales, business development or account management (preferably in AV/IT solutions or related technology sector).
Demonstrated success in re-engaging former clients and generating repeat business.
Strong industry network and established client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach.
Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in selling AV integration, IT infrastructure or enterprise technology solutions.
Knowledge of AV systems, control platforms and industry standards.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
