Job Summary
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing HoReCa accounts (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. The role requires strong networking skills, an understanding of the HoReCa ecosystem, and the ability to develop long-term strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Acquisition
Identify and target potential HoReCa clients in assigned territory.
Generate leads and convert them into profitable business partnerships.
Present product offerings, pricing, and value propositions to decision-makers.
Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts (hotel chains, restaurant groups, cafes).
Conduct regular visits to client locations to monitor performance and satisfaction.
Address client queries, complaints, and support requirements promptly.
Ensure seamless coordination between clients and internal teams (operations, logistics, finance).
3. Market Research & Strategy
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Recommend strategies for new product launches or expansion in HoReCa vertical.
Analyze sales data to improve targeting and optimize growth.
4. Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for on-time deliveries.
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance norms.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for management.
5. Brand Promotion
Represent the brand at industry events, food festivals, trade shows, and promotional activities.
Support marketing campaigns targeting HoReCa customers.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HoReCa industry dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and handle key customers.
Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
Good understanding of sales CRM tools and reporting.
Time management and territory management skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
1-4 years of experience in HoReCa sales, FMCG, beverages, food service, or hospitality (depending on seniority).
Network within HoReCa industry is highly preferred.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license (if required).
