The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales for the interior designer showroom. The role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of interior design trends, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business leads through field visits, networking, social media, and referrals.
Meet walk-in clients, understand their requirements, and present suitable interior solutions and showroom products.
Collaborate with the design and sales team to create proposals and quotations.
Maintain strong follow-up with potential clients to ensure conversions.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, builders, and contractors.
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Maintain CRM data, prepare weekly sales reports, and update management on pipeline progress.
Participate in showroom promotions, exhibitions, and marketing activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Design or related field.
Proven experience in sales/BD within interior design, furniture, home decor, or real estate.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for interior design.
Ability to understand and explain design concepts and product features.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
