Job Summary:


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven

Business Development Executive (BDE)

to join our team and drive growth for our website development services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital space, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to identify and nurture new business opportunities in the web development sector.

Key Responsibilities:



Client Acquisition:



Identify and approach potential clients for website development services, including businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations. Generate new leads through various channels like cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms (LinkedIn, Up work, etc.). Pitch our website development services (custom websites, e-commerce solutions, CMS development, etc.) to prospective clients.

Client Relationship Management:



Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, timely delivery, and addressing client concerns. Act as the point of contact for clients throughout the sales and post-sales process.

Market Research & Strategy:



Research market trends, competitors, and industry developments to stay ahead of client needs. Analyze competitor offerings and propose new strategies for attracting clients. Develop business proposals and present solutions to meet clients' digital and web development needs.

Sales & Revenue Generation:



Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients. Work closely with the project management and development teams to ensure smooth handoffs and project delivery.

Proposal & Pitch Creation:



Prepare compelling proposals and presentations based on the client's requirements and business goals. Develop pricing models, timelines, and scope of work for website development projects.

Collaboration & Teamwork:



Collaborate with the marketing, design, and development teams to align on service offerings and client needs. Assist in shaping the company's sales and marketing strategies. Stay updated on the company's services and solutions to effectively communicate and sell to clients.

Reporting & Documentation:



Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client communications using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Provide regular reports on lead generation, sales, and market trends to the management team.

Requirements:



Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years in business development, sales, or client management in the digital or website development industry.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Skills:



Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills. Understanding of website development, e-commerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), SEO, and other digital services. Ability to create compelling proposals and presentations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage client expectations.

Tools:

Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello), and digital sales platforms.

Attitude:

Goal-oriented, self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:



Prior experience in selling website development services or digital solutions. Understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and Shopify) is a plus. Experience in the startup or small business space is an advantage.
