Job Summary
DTDC is looking for a
Business Development Executive
to drive growth by acquiring new customers, expanding key accounts, and increasing shipment volumes. This is a field-focused, target-driven role ideal for candidates with strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard new business customers (SMEs, retailers, e-commerce sellers).
Generate leads through field visits, references, and market mapping.
Promote DTDC courier, express, bulk, and COD services.
Negotiate pricing and close business deals.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and shipment targets.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Coordinate with operations teams for smooth pickups and deliveries.
Track customer performance and ensure repeat business.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in
business development or field sales
(courier/logistics preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
Ability to travel locally for customer meetings.
Basic knowledge of logistics, courier, or e-commerce shipments is an advantage.
Education: 12th pass / Any graduate.
Two-wheeler with valid license preferred.
