About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven
Business Development Executive
who has hands-on experience with
Upwork, LinkedIn lead generation, and selling Digital Marketing Services
. The ideal candidate should be skilled in generating leads, preparing proposals, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Generate qualified leads through Upwork, LinkedIn, Freelancer, email outreach, and other digital platforms.
Bid on Upwork projects, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals with international clients.
Sell digital marketing services including
SEO, Google Ads (SEM), Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Web Development & Branding solutions
.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target clients.
Communicate with prospects through email, calls, LinkedIn messaging & video meetings.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
Maintain CRM entries and track the complete sales funnel from lead to closure.
Achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets with strong follow-up and conversion strategies.
Create business presentations, pricing quotations, and case study demonstrations.
Build and maintain healthy relationships with new and existing clients.
Explore opportunities for upselling & cross-selling digital services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
1-3 years of experience
in BDE / Sales role in a Digital Marketing Agency.
Must have experience in Upwork bidding & proposal writing
.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Strong understanding of digital marketing services and industry trends.
Ability to pitch, negotiate, and close deals independently.
Self-motivated, target-driven & strong follow-up skills.
Experience using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc., is a plus.
