Business Development Executive - Construction & Modular EPC
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented
Business Development Executive
with
3 to
4 years of experience
in business development, sales, or client acquisition roles within the
construction, EPC, or infrastructure sector
. The ideal candidate should have experience identifying opportunities, supporting tender processes, and building client relationships to help expand our business footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue
new business opportunities
in the construction and modular infrastructure sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders
Conduct basic
market research
to track trends, client needs, and competitor activities
Prepare and assist in presenting
project proposals, bids, and marketing materials
Work closely with internal teams such as
estimation, engineering, and procurement
to align business efforts
Support in
negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
Follow up on project leads and ensure
client satisfaction
throughout the project cycle
Help the company achieve its
sales and revenue targets
Attend relevant
industry events, exhibitions, and networking meets
Provide regular updates on business development activities to senior management
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree
in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
Minimum
3 -4
years of experience
in business development or sales in the
construction/EPC sector
Familiarity with
tendering, bidding, or project coordination
for infrastructure projects
Good understanding of
modular construction, steel/PEB structures, or facades
(preferred)
Strong in
communication, negotiation, and relationship building
Proficiency in
MS Office, CRM tools
, and basic proposal software
A self-starter with
analytical thinking
and a collaborative mindset
Key Competencies
Working knowledge of construction industry practices and client expectations
Ability to identify and convert new leads into business
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on
multiple projects
and meet targets
Basic understanding of
project costing, documentation, and approvals
