About the Role
SWBI Architects is seeking a dynamic and driven
Business Development Executive
with a strong flair for the design and architectural domain. The ideal candidate will combine communication excellence, client-facing confidence, and a keen understanding of design-driven businesses. This role involves preparing high-impact presentations, collaborating with senior leadership, and engaging proactively with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare compelling RFP submissions, pitch decks, and client presentations for design and architectural projects.
Work closely with senior leaders to understand client requirements, project scope, and positioning strategies.
Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with prospective clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
Convert leads into opportunities by articulating SWBI's value proposition and capabilities effectively.
Maintain and update the BD pipeline, tracking progress, follow-ups, and closures.
Represent the firm in client interactions with professionalism and clarity.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent command over written and spoken English.
High level of comprehension--ability to quickly understand briefs, design intent, and client expectations.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to create visually appealing and impactful decks.
Proficiency in presentation and design software such as PowerPoint, Canva, or equivalent.
Strong convincing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders confidently.
Preferred Background
Graduate in any discipline.
Prior experience in business development within architecture, interior design, real estate, or a related design-centric domain.
Understanding of design processes, terminologies, and project cycles is a strong advantage.
