The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding market presence, developing new business opportunities, and managing the complete sales cycle--from lead generation to closure--while closely coordinating with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Cold calling, lead generation, and follow-ups
Channel sales through architects, builders & design consultants
Client meetings, presentations, and relationship management
Understanding project requirements, scope, and commercial terms
Coordination with design, costing, and production teams
Maintaining sales pipeline and reporting progress
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified leads generated
Conversion ratio and revenue achieved vs targets
Strength and growth of architect & builder network
Repeat business and long-term client relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
2-3 years of experience in furniture, interiors, or related industry
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of shop drawings, floor plans, SQ, BOQ, PO, PI
Understanding of commercial project workflows
Ability to work independently and take ownership
