We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and market development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities through networking, research, and cold calling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand client requirements and present appropriate business solutions.
Work closely with internal teams to create customized proposals and deliver client presentations.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle -- from lead generation to deal closure.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain an updated sales pipeline and prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
Participate in business events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote company offerings.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3-6 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Good understanding of sales pipelines, CRM tools, and lead management.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of the local Chennai market is an added advantage.
