The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving B2B client acquisition, territory development, and execution of go-to-market strategies in the field. This is a high-energy role that combines prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship management to deliver measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Prospecting
Identify and engage potential B2B clients through cold calls, networking, events, and referrals.
Own and manage a sales territory, building a healthy pipeline of prospects.
Execute on-ground GTM campaigns (roadshows, product demos, workshops, events).
Consultative Sales & GTM Execution
Understand client needs and present customized SaaS solutions.
Deliver compelling product demos, presentations, and proposals.
Collaborate with marketing teams to execute account-based campaigns in your territory.
Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term client relationships with decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients in your territory.
Gather client feedback and share insights with the product/marketing team.
Performance & Reporting
Meet and exceed sales targets (leads, demos, closures, revenue).
Maintain accurate activity records in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Report on market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine GTM strategy.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of experience in B2B field sales, SaaS, or technology solutions.
Strong track record in achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in the field and manage a sales territory.
Comfortable with CRM tools, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
Strong networking ability and passion for building client relationships.
Nice to Have
Experience selling to industries like healthcare, real estate, retail, or education.
Familiarity with GTM strategies, account-based marketing (ABM), or channel sales.
Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth SaaS company.
