Role & Responsibilities:
- Implements the recommendations of the strategic business development plan.
- Conducts market research and analysis specific to civil engineering projects and sectors.
- Evaluates operational challenges to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry trends.
- Monitors external and internal environments to identify new market segments for civil engineering services.
- Develops and manages the business development budget.
- Manages specific corporate programs related to civil engineering projects.
- Ensures effective control of business development results, taking corrective actions to achieve objectives within allocated budgets.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Supports and promotes the company's mission, vision, values, and ethical standards.
- Assists in planning events that highlight civil engineering capabilities.
- Optimizes the company's participation in relevant civil engineering trade groups and associations.
- Assists in developing processes for gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders.
- Represents the company through public speaking engagements related to civil engineering, business development, and industry trends.
- Meets with key clients, supporting sales representatives in maintaining relationships and negotiating deals.
- Manages the entire RFP process and workflow for civil engineering projects.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in the civil engineering industry.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing RFQ (Request for Quotation) proposals.
- Strong relationships within the local market, particularly with developers, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.
- Proven track record in identifying and securing civil engineering project opportunities.
- Familiarity with Construction Management at Risk (CM at Risk) delivery method.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team player with a professional demeanor and presentation.
