About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive with strong experience in handling Upwork, Freelancer, and other online portals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven experience in sales, and the ability to manage end-to-end international clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage bidding and client acquisition on Upwork, Freelancer, and other portals
2. Handle end-to-end client management - from initial communication to project delivery and account retention
3. Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities into business deals
4. Work on international B2B sales and expand global client base
5. Deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
7. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Requirements
2-3 years of proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role
Strong experience in managing Upwork, Freelancer, and other bidding portals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience in B2B sales and international client handling
Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and drive results
Strong business orientation with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the IT/Software/Services industry will be an added advantage
Result-driven mindset with problem-solving ability
