Role Overview
We're hiring a
Business Development Executive (BDE)
who has a proven track record of bringing in new business for
marketing and development agencies
. This role is
not telemarketing or glorified cold calling
-- we want someone who knows how to build pipelines, craft intelligent outreach, and close meaningful deals.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects for marketing and development services.
Strategically use outreach platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Instantly, Apollo, Clay, Upwork, etc.) to generate leads.
Draft compelling InMails, Upwork proposals, and outreach messages that stand out.
Manage the entire sales cycle: from first touch to closing.
Collaborate with the founders on offer positioning and outreach strategy.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue and pipeline targets.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a BDE in a
marketing or development agency
(mandatory).
Demonstrated success in generating and closing deals (share figures, case studies, or references).
Deep familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, email automation tools, and Upwork/Freelancer bidding.
Strong written communication skills for drafting personalized proposals and messages.
Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline independently.
Self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a high-performance environment.
What We're Not Looking For
Pure cold-callers without proven digital agency experience.
Generalist sales reps who haven't sold marketing/development services before.
