We are looking for a Business Development Executive who is able to accelerate Trishulent India's growth in the sales and marketing sector by proactively identifying and securing new clients, delivering and fostering long-term partnerships that drive mutual success and revenue expansion.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for chemical products in domestic and/or international markets.
Proactively identify potential new clients through various channels (external and internal), outreach via different channels, online research and referrals.
Build and manage strong relationships with customers, distributors, traders, and channel partners.
Generate and follow up on leads, conduct client meetings, and convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing, payment terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support pricing and product strategy.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports for management review.
Represent the company in meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events as required.
Support onboarding of dealers/distributors and manage ongoing performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-6 years of proven experience in business development / sales within the chemical industry (industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals, or related sectors preferred).
Strong understanding of chemical products, B2B sales cycles, and customer negotiation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets and results.
Experience in pricing, commercial discussions, and basic contract understanding.
Proficient in MS Excel, CRM tools, and reporting.
Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
