About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented
Business Development Executive
to join our event management team. The candidate will be responsible for
pitching sponsorships, building partnerships, and driving business growth
through lead generation and strategic communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and approach potential sponsors, brands, and corporate clients for event sponsorship opportunities.
Develop and deliver compelling
sales pitches, proposals, and presentations
to potential clients.
Conduct
cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups
to generate leads and schedule meetings.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and marketing heads.
Work closely with the marketing and event team to create
custom sponsorship packages
and brand integrations.
Track and manage all leads, communications, and follow-ups in CRM or reporting sheets.
Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and brand marketing activities.
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience in
business development / sponsorship sales / B2B sales
(preferably in event or media industry).
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation
skills.
Confidence in
cold calling
and initiating conversations with senior marketing professionals.
Strong
networking and relationship-building
skills.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
