Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
Generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and cold outreach.
Client Acquisition & Engagement
Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business by targeting key clients, including civil engineering firms, government agencies, construction companies, and private developers.
Schedule and conduct in-person client meetings and site visits.
Deliver compelling presentations and detailed briefings about our company's capabilities, services, and NABL accreditation.
Effectively communicate the value of our technical services, including geotechnical investigations, construction material testing, and structural audits, to a non-technical audience.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing technical guidance and solutions.
Proposal & Contract Manage
Proposal & Contract Management
Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to prepare compelling proposals, bids, and presentations.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Sales & Reporting
Actively manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management.
Networking & Technical Knowledge
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, to promote services and expand the professional network.
Use your technical expertise to understand client needs and effectively communicate the value of the company's geotechnical services.
Stay up-to-date on the technical aspects of our services and relevant industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in business development, sales, or a similar marketing role, preferably within the geotechnical, construction, engineering or infrastructure industry.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any graduate with related technical field is preferred.
A strong understanding of technical terms related to construction, civil engineering, and material testing.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and a proven ability to close deals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel for client visits and fieldwork.
