Experience in Government Tenders (GeM/State/Central)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented
Sales & Marketing professional
with strong experience in the
battery or power industry
, along with good knowledge of
government tender processes
. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing market opportunities, managing client relationships, and handling tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify new business opportunities in battery, power backup, and electrical segments.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets through B2B, institutional, and government customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key accounts.
2. Government Tender Management
Monitor and identify relevant government tenders on GeM, e-procurement portals, and departments.
Prepare and submit tender documents, pricing, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with internal departments for required tender documentation.
Ensure compliance with tender requirements and track tender status.
3. Marketing & Promotional Activities
Conduct market research to understand competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
Support branding activities, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and product demos.
4. Client Interaction & Support
Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Provide product knowledge, technical information, and after-sales support where required.
Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing
, preferably in
battery, power, inverter, UPS, or related industry
.
Strong knowledge of
government tendering process
(GeM/e-tenders).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working with government departments, PSUs, and large institutions.
Strong market understanding of battery and power backup products.
Willingness to travel for business requirements.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
