Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments, including operations, pricing and finance to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience Required: -
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding and container transportation.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
