BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Position Level: Senior Executive / Leadership
Salary Range: ?35,000 - ?50,000/month + commission (3-5% of sales value)
Experience Required: 5-7 years in B2B sales, HVAC/equipment sales, or real estate/corporate sales
Reports To: Founder / Director
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Strategy:
Identify and research potential customer segments (HNI residential, corporate, healthcare, education)
Map premium residential colonies in Delhi-NCR with contact lists
Research corporate offices and facility managers in target companies
Develop list of hospitals, schools, and institutions
Analyze competitor activities (YOGA and others) and market trends
Provide monthly market intelligence reports to founder
2. Sales Development:
Create target customer lists and prioritization framework
Develop sales pitch and value proposition for different customer segments
Create sales collateral (brochures, presentation decks, case studies)
Build relationships with real estate brokers, architects, and interior designers
Establish partnerships with corporate facility management companies
Develop referral program and incentive structure
3. Lead Generation & Qualification:
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and direct outreach
Qualify leads based on budget, need, and timeline criteria
Maintain lead database and track conversion metrics
Follow up with warm leads and schedule consultations
Prepare lead reports and pipeline forecasting
4. Customer Meetings & Presentations:
Conduct consultative sales meetings with prospects
Present system options, pricing, and ROI analysis
Address customer objections and concerns
Negotiate contracts and close deals
Ensure smooth handoff to operations team postsale
5. Marketing Coordination:
Coordinate with marketing team on digital campaigns Identify partnership opportunities with builders, architects, brokers
Plan and execute promotional events and demos
Collect customer success stories and testimonials for marketing
Key Skills:
B2B sales experience and consultative selling
Strong communication and presentation skills
Networking and relationship building

CRM system proficiency

Technical product understanding (HVAC background helpful)
Success Metrics:
Generate 30-50 qualified leads per month by Month 3 Close rate: 20-30% (target 7-15 installations per month)
Sales pipeline value: ?50+ lakhs by Month 6
Customer acquisition cost: Maintain <?50,000 per installation
Customer satisfaction: Ensure smooth hand-offs to operations team
Day 1 Priorities: Develop target customer list (100+ companies, 50+ residential prospects)
Research potential partnership channels (brokers, architects, designers)
Create elevator pitch and sales presentation
Plan go-to-market strategy with founder
Set up CRM system for lead tracking and sales pipeline
