The Business Development Executive will act as the first point of contact for inbound leads generated through multiple channels, including digital platforms. This role focuses on qualifying prospects, nurturing leads through structured follow-ups, and coordinating closely with internal teams to drive conversions. The position is office-based and plays a critical role in strengthening the sales pipeline and supporting overall business growth.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate first-level contact with incoming leads to understand requirements and assess business potential.
  • Screen, qualify, and categorize leads to ensure accurate routing to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct consistent follow-up calls to nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel effectively.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, and growth teams to ensure seamless lead handover and alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, status updates, and outcomes using CRM or lead management tools.
  • Prepare and share weekly reports on lead generation performance, follow-ups, and conversion trends.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing feedback on lead quality, customer queries, and market responses.
  • Develop a strong understanding of product offerings, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or lead management roles.
  • Prior exposure to greenhouse manufacturing, polyhouse systems, agri-tech, or high-tech agriculture is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage, nurture, and convert leads through structured follow-ups.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with confidence in engaging prospects over phone and digital channels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and lead tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently in an office-based role while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, agriculture, or a related discipline preferred.
