Business Development Engineer (electrical Background)

Job Description

This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems and components, combined with strong sales skills to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs in sectors such as industrial automation, power distribution, and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and develop new business opportunities in the electrical and power sector. Engage with customers to understand technical and commercial requirements. Present and demonstrate electrical products such as switchgear, transformers, control panels, and energy solutions. Design tailored solutions in collaboration with engineering and product teams. Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and detailed quotations. Negotiate contracts and close sales in alignment with revenue targets. Support after-sales activities including installation coordination and troubleshooting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical standards, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
