The Business Development Engineer (BDE) will be responsible for generating new business leads, promoting solar & ELV solutions, conducting promotional campaigns, visiting households and commercial establishments, and building strong relationships with customers and channel partners. The role involves on-field visits, technical understanding of solar/ELV solutions, and meeting monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Solar Rooftop, On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid Systems, and ELV solutions
Conduct door-to-door

, and local area marketing activities.
Meet residential, commercial, industrial clients and explain products, solutions, and benefits.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the management.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions to clients.
Develop strong relationships with builders, contractors, consultants, and channel partners.
2. Market Research & Strategy
Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitors, and industry trends.
Provide insights for market expansion in the Malappuram district and nearby regions.
Identify community programs, exhibitions, and local gatherings for promotional activities.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong and positive relationships with new and existing customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups.
Coordinate with the technical team for site surveys, installation, and after-sales support.
4. Campaigns & Promotions
Plan and execute:
House campaigns
Property visits
Awareness campaigns for solar energy
Local/WhatsApp marketing campaigns
Promote Sysgreen's offerings through targeted outreach, brochures, field events, and presentations.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Project Engineers and office team for smooth execution of orders.
Maintain daily visit reports, lead sheets, funnel reports, and MIS updates.
Report weekly progress, sales funnel, and challenges to the Sales/BD Manager.
in Electrical, Electronics, , EEE, ECE, or related fields.
Experience
Previous experience in Solar/ELV/Security Systems companies is highly preferred.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge and sales interest may also apply.
Technical Skills
Good understanding of Solar Power Systems and ELV products.
Ability to read basic site layouts, load details, and system specifications.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Other Requirements
Mandatory 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving license.
Must be willing to travel extensively within Edappal / Malappuram and nearby districts.
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong customer-focused approach.
